Step one of bringing the website back to life: get it mentioned on a popular comedy D&D podcast.
Thank you to Brian Posehn (AND FRIENDS!) for the shoutout on this week’s episode (#90: Smell the Weird Rope) of Nerd Poker!
I handed this postcard to Brian after a show in Seattle this weekend and I’m just really glad they liked it!
Now I REALLY have to get the site back and posting!

Okay, the Chickenfox is back, I swear! Finally done with school, my thesis, moving, and getting a new job. Updates will be irregular for a while as I build up a backlog, but there are a lot of ideas and things waiting to be completed!
The website will be gradually updated with all the features I meant to have from the beginning but didn’t know how to accomplish.
First update: Gallery pages! The Gallery tab now contains links to different categories and tags. It’s a bit jury-rigged for now, but works great if you want to find specific series (Classic Artists, Costumed, Comic, etc)
I also have a lot of big lofty ideas about future chickenfox merch, if anyone is interested. My favorite idea so far is a numbered miniprint set. Probably short runs of trading card and postcard sized prints.
Excited to get rolling again!
I’m very grateful for all of you that have stuck around through all the silence, and the new followers that have joined despite of it!
Ahahaa, April Fools’? No, I messed up. Fixing it now :D Thanks for the heads up!
Just going to jump on the bandwagon of blogs that will not be posting screamers on April Fools’ Day.
Not only because it is mean and pointlessly cruel, but because April 1st is the anniversary of the ChickenfoxStudios website!
If you don’t want to play any pranks but DO want to celebrate something, feel free to submit Chickenfox love tomorrow in celebration of 2 years (!!!) of official Chickenfox goodness (with some long hiatus gaps because of school - sorry)
We had a blizzard earlier this week and it was the right kind of snow for sculpting! But I was not wearing the right kind of gloves, so this is all I could make.
Chickenfox Olympics 2014 marathon!

Chickenfoxes use their sharply clawed feet to ice skate, nullifying the need to make tiny little ice skates. They balance and perform triple toe loop jumps using their tails as ballast.
